The name Asclepiades, found in the fragments, is probably to be corrected to Asclepius. Given the lack of information, dating the activity of Asclepiades is not possible. According to Schwartz (1896: 1627), he lived in the Imperial period. This hypothesis is supported by the fact that he wrote a patria.
