Remarks:
Neither Müller (FHG III, 306), nor Schwartz (1896: 1627) mention the anonymous epigram of the Palatine anthology quoting the Patria of Anazarbus. They just refer to a passage of Stephen of Byzantium (s.v. Άνάζαρβα). According to the entry, Asclepiades wrote a book On rivers (Περὶ ποταμῶν) and many other things. Although the author is said to be a citizen of Anazarbus, there is no reference to the Patria.
