Persicus the Thracian is quoted by Theophanes Confessor as source on Leo I's expedition against Geiseric in the year 468/469. Mango and Scott (1997: 180-181) identify him with Priscus of Panium and say that Theophanes is most likely quoting him via Eustathius of Epiphaneia.
