Abdisho bar Brika ascribes to the catholicos Ishoyahb II various 'letters, stories, and homilies'. The Syriac word taš'yāṯā, 'stories', is frequently used to indicate historiographical works, but on the nature of this writings of Ishoyahb we are not better informed.
