Remarks:
The work was probably written after Constantine's death (337) and allowed Bemarchius to obtain Constantius' favour: in 340, the author held the municipal chair of rhetoric in Constantinople; one year later (341), he delivered a speech in praise of the Great Church of Antioch, built by Constantius. Usage by Libanius is uncertain.
