Remarks:
Elias of Nisibis quotes an Ecclesiastical history written by a certain Micah for the years (according to the Seleucid era) 906 (594/595 A.D.), 907 (595/596 A.D.), 916 (604/605 A.D.). The 5-book Liber Turris lists a Micah of Beth Garmai among the figures who were famous at the time of the patriarch Ishoyab III (649/50-660), but without ascribing any literary work to him (Gismondi 1896: 56; Gismondi 1897: 33). The identification of the two is proposed by Baumstark (1922: 207-208).
