In Gratiarum actio 2, Ausonius lists the victories of the emperor Gratian and suggests to give a complete but brief account elsewhere. This could refer to another work of praise, a lost work of history, or to his Caesars or Chronicle. If a history, it may have been a breviarium, given Ausonius' emphasis on brevity.
