Remarks:
An additional fragment can be found in Nicephorus Callistus Xanthopoulos, Ecclesiastical history 14.57-58 (Patrologia Graeca 146/2, 1272-1274), copied from Evagrius. Treadgold (2007) suggests that Eustathius is a common source  of John Malalas and John of Antioch, which is unlikely.
