Remarks:
The History of Justinian possibly continued Procopius and ended at the point where Theophanes' later historical work entitled Histories started, that is the second year of Justin II's reign. It seems likely that the History of Justinian was divided into 15 books, one book devoted to each year (Treadgold 2007: 291).
