Remarks:
Barnes (1980: 197-198) argues that Eusebius produced four different versions of his Ecclesiastical history. Treadgold adds a fifth version, written around 326, in which Eusebius omits a few references to Crispus (Treadgold 2010: 39). Burgess (1997: 471-504) limits the number to three. Cassin, Debié and Perrin (2012) rather suggest the existence of one edition, as does Johnson (2014: 104-111).
