Remarks:
Moses' Ecclesiastical history is attested in his brief biography, compiled by an anonymous author and included in many manuscripts of Moses' works. Two redactions of this biography exist. The second redaction, preserved in Staatsbibliothek, Petermann Syr. 15 (Sachau 1899: 207), suggests that the Ecclesiastical history was not an original composition but a translation.
