Remarks:
The only reference to the Origins of Padua comes from the anonymous Origin of the Roman people (fourth century), whose author quotes the work to explain two lines of Vergil (Aeneid 1.242-243).
According to Momigliano (1958: 70), the author of the Origins of the Roman people prepared a summary of the work on Padua. In fact, he says that he used it for a commentary on Vergil.
