    (Isaurika, Isaurian history)
Period covered:
Earliest history-author's time?
Language:
Greek
State of Preservation:
Fragmentary
Genre:
  • Secular history (classicizing history)
  • Secular history (general)
Remarks:
According to the Suda, s.v. Καπίτων Λύκιος, the Isaurica consisted of eight books. Yet, Stephanus of Byzantion, Ethnica s.v. Ψιμάδα, refers to book 15. If we do not consider this a copyist's mistake, we have to accept a greater length (15, 18 books?).
