Remarks:
Although the title of the Chapter 43 of the Parastaseis syntomoi chronikai contains the word Milion, there is no reference to the Milion in the chapter. Averil Cameron suggested that 'Milion' conceals 'Milichios', a name of a chronographer which appears in Parastaseis syntomoi chronikai 68 (Cameron 1984: 231). There is also the possibility that Dioscorus' work is the chronicle compiled in the reign of Heraclius identified with Mango's 'patriographic source of around 600' by M. Whitby (Cameron 1984: 231).
