Remarks:
Feissel (2006: 189) argues that Nestorianus' work was a list of emperors from Augustus to Leo II (474) (cf. Jeffreys 2000: 187). Nestorianus may have used a city chronicle of Antioch, which began at the time of Caesar (Jeffreys 2000: 205; Freund 1882: 17). Patzig (1901) argued that Nestorianus and Domninus were one and the same person. Patzig (1891/2: 29) and Gleye (1893: 161) proposed that Nestorianus was not a name but an indication of the author's religious preferences.
