Remarks:
Agapius of Mabbug and Michael the Great quote (most likely via a common Syriac source) a passage where Ursinus listed the extraordinary events that happened after the crucifixion of Christ, and said that they were described by Pontius Pilate in a letter to Julius Caesar. Both authors mention Ursinus a second time, reporting a conversation he had with his pupil Patrophilus on the doctrine of Christ, but without referring to any work by him (Chabot 1910: 103; Vasiliev 1911: 501-502). Neither the author nor his work are otherwise known. They are probably pseudepigraphical or fictitious. If historical, the work could also have been composed in Latin.
