Remarks:
According to Jacoby (ad loc.), ἱστορία ἰδία is a reference to the ῎Απιστα of Palaephatus of Athens. Similarly, Schrader (1893: 45) suggests to translate it as 'foreign, paradoxical' (ἰδίαν = ξένην). Festa (1902: xlvi) relates it to the history of Troy and emends the text into Τρωικὰ ἱστορίαι ἰδίαι.
